Photography Competition

The programme of Balham Literary Festival considers how landscapes have inspired great writing. But we are also interested in other creative and critical responses – artistic, musical, and political.

Many of us capture our environs by taking photographs. Whether it’s a picture taken on a country walk or a cityscape snapped on the way to work, if it’s inspired by landscape we want to see it.

Please send your landscape-inspired images (only 1 per person please) to harry@dulwichbooks.co.uk

On 4th June Susie Nicklin – owner of Dulwich Books and organiser of Balham Literary Festival – will select her favourite 10 images, which will be displayed on the website and projected at the festival. She’ll then pick a winner and 2 runners up:

1st place will receive 2 weekend passes for the whole festival programme

2 runners up will each receive a pair of tickets for an individual event of their choice

Please note: to enter this competition you must own the copyright of your image and be happy for it to be posted on the website and social media of Balham Literary Festival and Dulwich Books. You will be credited whenever your image is posted in this way. The decision of the judges is final.
